Designed by Jan Stefanowicz, entered in the Register of Historic Monuments as a model example of modernism architecture, which survived the war in almost intact condition.
The name of the estate comes from the cement brick, characteristic of the construction industry in Warsaw in the 1920s and 1930s, which was used to finish the facades of the townhouses.
